EDIT:

Next 3 LATW's

- Florence + The Machine

- Mumford + Sons

now is there any doubt triple j is the best music station in world?

Awesome, more florence and mumford!

If only I listened to the radio.

I was too busy watching tv but i will listen to the replay. Tripple j is the best station in the world.

I'm looking forward to the new album from Cut Copy.

Also interested to see what Sally Seltmann's new album due out next month..

Hahahaha you love your Cut Copy... lures you back to the Aussie forum... I can't wait for it either but I guess my expectations will be so high after "In Ghost Colours"

now like i mentioned in an earlier post, Triple J have an epic line up of live at the wireless's coming up over the next few weeks including 3 of the best acts to come out of the UK in the last few years.

but before that amazing run of shows begin, this coming monday see's Grizzly Bear taking to the live at the wireless stage with their performance at the Sydney Festival in the very intimate City Recital Hall in Sydney. the show received mixed reviews in january so i will be very interested to hear how it sounds on the radio.

well i just recorded the replay of the Lisa Mitchell live at the wireless. its a solid 45min set from the painfully cute songstress. the only downsides to the recording are the short dropouts and this annoying static sound that is always theres. now i think that might have something to do with me only having the trial version of the recording program.

i will try and fix the problem by tomorrows grizzly bear broadcast.

re: post above. i didnt fix the problem. have to try again on sunday

has anyone seen the aria album charts lately. i paid a visit to the site today and i was very very impressed by the top 20. it has angus n julia stone at the top, gorillaz at 3, mumford n sons behind them, hendrix at 8, florence n the machine at 13, muse at 18 still and then broken bells at 20!

they could of have at least asked him about if and when radiohead might be heading down here, it is a music mag after all.

Hey, do one of you Aussies want to make a 10 or so song mixtape of awesome Australian artists that I've never heard of? I feel like Australia is the cookie jar and I just need to get on a stool to sneak sneak one.

i'll make one. which aussie artists have you heard besides cut copy?

Not much really. Jet and Wolfmother. Like one or two Middle East songs....thats about it.

I think I'm going to buy the Middle East EP soon. Listening to it on their website. More than legit.

mmmhmmm

Bought the Middle East EP last night. I love it. Especially the song Lonely.

^the ep is excellent. i will make you a mixtape and try to get it to you by next week.
