I was very disappointed they played that on a night I had to be out of the house! It's the first time they've played something from a gig I was actually at. If you could that would be amazing :awesome:

Miami Horror record is good; nothing spectacular but still a solid record IMO. I think I need to listen to it more though.

im going to see tame impala at macq uni in norwest region of sydney in a couple of weeks. will be the first time i see a band for the 3rd time :D

It's tempting, but if I even want to consider going to big day out it's off the cards, because I can't really afford to go to both at this stage. I'm hoping I'll be able to get as lucky as (hopefully) with Parklife and go and work there, but I suppose I'll have to see.

 

In other news, I'm trying for U2 tix tomorrow! Wish me luck!

 

Also, this weekend is Valley Fiesta! It's free so I'm going both nights with friends (which is possibly a stupid idea seeing as I have exams next week, but meh).

Tomorrow night I'm seeing Last Dinosaurs; Saturday night is The Boat People, John Steel Singers and Jinja Safari. Plus whatever random festivities there are. Shall be an epic weekend!

at the moment something like sunset sounds is worth so much more than BDO. the lineup is just perfect for me and my friends alike at a price only slightly higher than BDO. of course you have to add the costs of flight/roadtrip and accommodation but it might just be worth it for me. and i havent been to brisbane in sooo long!

Whoah, I totally forgot for a moment there wasn't an equivalent to Sunset Sounds in Sydney!!! Haha. Brisbane's awesome, you should definitely come here more often! :P

 

I think I'm going to wait and see what the BDO lineup's like (3 weeks or something til it's released, I think?) and reassess the situation. Unless it sells out before then. But at the moment I'd only really be going for Klaxons, Interpol and The National; and even though they're all AWESOME, if someone like Arcade Fire are going to come out for BDO then that's the obvious choice for me.
