It looks as if they're playing in Perth here for the first time since 2008. So two shows in NZ is not out of the question, and the 360 degree setup helps your cause

i was really hoping for next february rather than this december. i have guns n roses on 5th, muse on 9th and now u2 on 13th a bit too packed in for my liking.

They didn't do February because of Sports and stuff at the stadiums. Their stage takes a few days to put up and take down so I see why.

Well I am going. I have an only-see-a-band-once policy now, and this is the best time I will get to see them. Even though I can't really afford it.

seeing them on their Vertigo Tour wouldve been ideal for me because it wouldve meant i didnt have to endure songs from No Line. but with the Claw this time around it will be freken awesome still.

has anybody got a full list of ticket prices. because 99 bucks for the best standing spots sounds way too good to be true.

It does, but that could be US$99. No Aussie sellers announced prices yet.

Oh and MUSE are probable support, their dates fit.

haha, why do you have that policy?

One of my buddies is going to do go down to Australia for all their shows. He is pretty pumped for it.

Money issue. I worked out I spent 1800 on gigs this year.

Haha I admire your self imposed policy.

If I get a better paying job, the strength of the policy will be tested.

In all seriousness though, as long as I see these bands live at some stage, the rest are insignificant. Rest I want to see I have seen.

Radiohead

Blur

Arcade Fire

Bloc Party

Flight of the Conchords

The Kooks

Mystery Jets

The Thrills

Arcade Fire and Radiohead were my two "see before I die" type of artists. One down, one to go.

I think I may have to travel for radiohead. They haven't been to Australia since 2003 or 2005 I think. No In Rainbows tour. But Arcade Fire will most likely be here this summer!

I would be pissed if that happened. Do we have any idea who are supporting muse on their tour?

Still no news.

hmm so

Muse are in brisbane on 5th and 6th. U2 are in melbourne on the 1st and probably 2nd and 4th.

sydney on 9th and 10th. u2 are in brisbane on the 8th and will most probably just do one night there.

melbourne 14th and 15th. U2 are in sydney on the 13th and will most probably do 3 nights but hard to tell in which direction.

perth on 19th. U2 are there on the 18th.

i will lose my shit if they did. but at the moment i'll put it at 100/1 chance. it's just too gruelling for muse.

I used to like the Evermore, the first album still a really good record....but after that record they fell of in my opinion.

Now they have another record out (released early 2010) and this was the first single
