Did you 'get emotional' when Wilson the volleyball floated away in the film Castaway?

I cried really hard the first time I saw Wilson float away, actually.

+1

Forrest Gump is sad too at the end when he's crying over Jenny's grave.

<3 THAT MOVIE.

I cry when Bubba dies. :bigcry:

I cried during "Life Size". You know, the kiddy move with Tyra Banks?

I also cried the first time I watched a Lady Gaga music video. It was just so pathetic... I totally lost it! :bigcry:

^^ :cry2: I did too! When she had to become a doll again... :bigcry:

But Castaway... I have not seen that in such a long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started crying when the dog in I Am Legend died

Oh gah...me, too. :\ It was so bad for me that I thought I might have to leave the theater because I my breathing was starting to hitch due to how hard I was crying. The people sitting next to me started to stare.

But, in my defense, I saw the movie when I was 7 months pregnant with my 2nd and I blame the hormones.

...even though when I saw the movie again when I was NOT pregnant, I still bawled like a baby when the dog died

The dog's death in I am Legend was sad, but nothing compared to Wilson in Castaway.

Was that the name of the "zombie" tribe?

I forgot to add that I did cry when Wilson floated away. Just the first time I saw the movie, though. It was one of those moments for me that was only sad the first time you saw the movie.

True story:

Back when I was in high school and Romeo + Juliet came out, my best friend and her boyfriend and I all went to watch it. Okay, everybody I know has read Romeo and Juliet and knows how it ends, but without fail, after Claire Danes discovers that Leonardo DiCaprio has just poisoned himself and then offs herself with his gun, I suddenly heard quiet sniffling. I looked over at my friend to see if she was crying. No tears. So, we both looked over to our left and saw her boyfriend just bawling his eyes out. We couldn't help but laugh a little. It was the dude who was weepy.

Ouch.

I didn't cry, but I felt like it.....

haha I was watching a german film when I was sick last week.....there was scene about happy people singing songs at a fire at the sea in the evening....and I started crying....:freak:

Well did you??

What other weird scenarios you've found yourself in thinking 'why am I doing this, it's stupid!???'

I wanted to cry! 'cause I was like "Oh no!! Wilson! :cry2: " and then I looked to the people around and they all wanted to cry too! so I ended up laughing:laugh3:

Cast Away it's such a good movie!

Of course I did. You'd have to have no heart to not cry when that round piece of bloody rubber floated farther and farther, while Tom screamed, "WILSON! I'm sorry Wilson!"

*gets weepy*

Asshole, you cry because Tom's only got a bloody piece of rubber and has gone so nuts from not having human contact he gets so worked up over said bloody piece of rubber. :veryangry:
