I really don't like Christmas but unfortunatly have to go along with it to please other people.

So I usually don't care much for Christmas. Don't decorate or really celebrate. I work most years, so people I work with that have kids can stay home with them and so I can tell my family, sorry I can't come over, I have to work.

 

But this year I bought a new house and I have some family coming over and so I thought I would at least put up a tree. I think the last one I had was at least 5 years ago. So I had to go buy a tree stand and then got a good deal on a tree. Got frickin needles all over the trunk of my car getting it home. :angry: Got it to stand up straight in the stand after several attempts. Hauled all the decoration boxes down the stairs only to discover that I tossed out all the lights with the last tree. :facepalm: Now I have to go out and battle the mobs to get some lights. Oh yeah, it's the most wonderful time of the year. :dozey:

That's why my family has a fake tree. :P

I just finished putting up the Christmas tree :nice: It's a fake one since I'm at my grandparents' but it looks lovely anyway.

I freaking love Christmas...especially now that I'm in the UK :heart:

My next door neighbour is playing Xmas songs on her organ badly. Over and over. She's like 80.
