I totally agree. Personally, I had a really great time. Even the opportunity to meet so many Coldplaying members, meet old friends and make new ones was a real treat.
I made that point to Debs on the phone early on Thursday, before the boat trip. I hope that message gets back to the HQ :)

Wait,,, under 18?

..is that the drinking age over there?

...God Bless Europe.

Yeah, we can drink and vote at 18 :D

Yeah, we can drink and vote at 18 :D

Lucky!

yet another thing to dislike about were I live....

cant drink till Im 21.

Booo!

But you can drive when you're 16 right ?

I actually cannot believe you

You expect the band to buy you all alcoholic drinks and give you a signed CD, wev were so glad for the foood because we hadn't eaten all day

Somebody won a signed mince spies but I am fed up with you and your ungratefulness, There were loads of other people who would of just gone to meet up with some good friends but No you expect them to give you tons of free stuff and sing for you.

Yeah, I'm with Kat on this one. You're being very ungrateful. Next time, leave your spot open for someone who would have appreciated to be there no matter what.

not without a permit

theres all these hoops to jump through

Its a bitch trying to get a license.

Especially if your me and your luck is crap

Now I have to retake the written test.

Then try and retake the drivers test and hope this time my proctor isnt a bitch/doesnt hear me playing a game of "Your Team"/ no asshole cuts me off at the very end of the test and makes me "impede traffic" and fail.

:blank:

Fuck.

Life.

aaaaww I'm sure you'll get your licence

its so difficult.

and the shit part is i swear its NOT my driving

all my frinds say I drive fine.

And Ive had no accidents or anything.

No close calls either.

And Im not some jack ass who likes to floor it or cut people off and unlike most drivers i encounter when im walking in a crosswalk.... i actually STOP at a crosswalk and let the pedestrian get across instead of seeing how fast and close i can drive in front of/behind them without actually killing them.

....this belongs in a different thread i know sorry ill stop bitching..... do we have one for driving?

I dunno but Kelsie was almost killed by her car D:

If you're fed up so just shut up and the fuss you're making will be over. Don't you think? As for me nothing has changed. They're still one of my favorite bands and i'll see them again at concerts and in London. :)

There is another thing : I don't understand why ringing at a company's door is indisrespectful. Chris lives nearby the Beehive and it wouldn't spring to mind to ring at his home even though I know where he lives. I wouldn't do that.

well for phucks sake i would hope you would have enough brain cells to know not to ring the doorbell at his home!

and you dont see how its disrespectful?

you dont see how its not cool to go to the studio where coldplay are hard at work, interrupt them

and ring there door bell and just be there and stand there like "oh hai take a picture with me and sign my autograph... btw that boatride you oraganized sucks why werent you there"

if you dont get how thats douchebaggery at its finest you honestly shouldve jumped off the damn boat whilst holding a large rock and saved the coldplay fanbase the embarrassment.

You don't have the right to go to a company without an appointment. None. It's not a department store. That's the reason you see the no soliciting, no trespassing signs on doors. At the very least you crossed the line.

Ofcourse it's disrespectful they are busy doing their jobs and I'm pretty sure they don't want people ringing the doorbell and telling them how they were disappointed. Maybe if you had just waited like the rest of us because that is what everyone else does because we respect the band's privacy and that maybe they are busy making an album for us.

^ This.

Just admit that you crossed the line and we can move the fuck on

I wouldnt hold your breath Kat.

some people are just impossible.

I know but If I did something wrong then I would just admit it and apologise instead of acting like it's a normal OK thing to do because it isn't .

I know

At least when I dun goof in the eyes of someone on here I at least ATTEMPT to see it throught their POV.

...whatever.

Forget embarrassing the fanbase for a moment. That's embarrassing for HER. Clearly this chick has got no shame. I'd have wanted the ground to open up and swallow me whole, lol.

Thank you for that, Ian! ;)

Let's all listen to the voice of reason, then!

How do you not understand that you should not be ringing at their door.Yes,its a business, but private property..It is not open to the public..

It's not like a restaurant or a shop, where anyone can go in.. It is almost like their home,It's where they practice, eat, probably even shower and nap..

If it was just their offices, then it would be no problem for you to go in..

well for phucks sake i would hope you would have enough brain cells to know not to ring the doorbell at his home!

I never got why everyone was so worked up over it.. I never knew she said the boatride sucked. It makes more sense now! I work in a studio often and am happy to take a few moments to help someone at the door who unexpectedly shows up. I feel like Coldplay are pretty cool guys that they wouldn't give as much a damn about it as everyone else does. But the fact she rang the bell just to say the boat sucked makes the whole doorbell deal pretty lame.

That is, if one or two people show up. The thing is, if everyone starts doing that they might have problems eventually (like, if the word spreads and non-coldplay fans show up to mess around, to number only one possibility).

Plus, I believe it's a question of respect.
