I saw Robert Plant performing in Tromsö yesterday. Not the same thing as the reaal Led Zeppelin of course bt they did play Whole Lot Of Love. :D

I think that "Since I've Been Loving You" is easily the greatest Zeppelin song ever made.

that's so cool some of you have seen members of the band in concert. I know Robert Plant came out with a solo album recently but I have no interest in getting it.

 

How would you rate it? Is it good?

Not only the best zep song, but possibly the best ever heavy blues/rock song ever made.

It was also one of the best songs Moby Grape ever made before Led Zeppelin blatantly plagiarized it without giving them credit (as Zep were wont to do). :P

 

Although I have to admit Led Zeppelin's version is FAR superior. :goofy:

The most frustrating thing was that Jimmy Page colaborated in that crime! what the fuck was he thinking?? he doesn't need money!

Its also Robert Plants best vocal performance, hands down. His power and range are unbeatable in it. Not Geoff Tate, Chris Cornell, Steve Perry couldn't hit notes with that power (although they are technically better than him).

...good question..can't remember some names..well first of all "Stairway to heaven"....ah "good times,bad times"...and the other one won't come to my mind right now!

mines are: darlene, black dog, misty mountain hop, when the levee breaks, we're gonna groove, poor tom and immigrant song. :)

My uncle wanted to buy a harry Potter cd rom for his nephew.So he did and when he was at home he recognised that he bought a harry Potter soundtack cd.So he asked me if I want to have it and I said yes.When I was at home I opened the cd and it conteted the led zeppelin best of album.I was really surprised,because it was a mistake by the record label...this was really funny because so I got the album for free.And I like it!
