...and could only listen to one Coldplay song what song would you chose.

Now before you rush out and blurt out how much you love Clocks and Speed of Sound be aware of a few rules.

1. You are forced to listen to this song once every 20 minutes when you are awake.

2. You are awake for a minimum of 14 hours a day.

3. You will not be rescued.

4. You will die.

5. You will die, but only after 40 years.

6. No other person or living thing will come into contact with you.

Now what song would you chose? Think about it.

Parachutes is an interesting choice. Since it is a rather short song. I'm not sure but this would probably push the insanity back a couple days.

SPIES

haha no... probably... Everything's not lost :nice:

you might think my choice is really obvious and disgustingly optimistic for that kind of situation... but I just think is the only song I couldnt get sick of

yah i was trying to think of what their longest song is because that might help make it's annoyingness stay away the most, but then i realized that all the longer ones are probably the catchier ones which would get old faster.

parachutes is nice and simple.

Parachutes or The Escapist, just because of the lenght.

I started to hate a song because I used it as the cellphone alarm song so I'd probably start to hate any song if I have to listen to it so often for the rest of my life.

ahhhhh maaaaaan

oh well

Help is Around the Corner

and then I would kill myself earlier obv

oh yeah Escapist is a good one too.

Lovers in Japan

oh god, i think i would kill myself

I already hate that song a bit :uhoh:

 maybe Brothers & Sisters

yeah I had a song as my ringtone and i didn't start to hate but got really bored of it .. but it's alright now because i haven't listened to that song in 6 months maybe.

same

i only like it live, with the butterflies and such.

otherwise, it would probably be the LAST one i would pick for this :P

 maybe Brothers & Sisters

i like the unreleased version of brothers and sisters better than the original

I hope it never happens to me :P

But I choose the Goldrush I think? Or maybe Parachutes..

no matter what, this would totally suck I'd come to hate whatever song I chose very fast.

But my instinct right now says 'moses'.

why people are choosing parachutes is absolutely beyond me. Would you prefer silence? If you're on an island for the rest of your life, you might as well have some substancial, interesting music to hear. I'd go crazy sooner in silence imo.

might be just me, but any of the more "complicated" songs would get so much more annoying a lot more quickly.

and at least with Parachutes it's over quickly and you can get on with not listening to anything for longer before having to listen again.

the sounds of nature is there, it's not like it would be completely silent.

I'll go for How You See The World No. 2.

I know it's quite a long song, but eventually it'll just be all noise that I'll be immune to like the sound of birds chirping and the water hitting the beach.

To think of it, maybe I'd choose Postcards From Faraway as well.

Chris' voice can be annoying if you have to listen to it every 20minutes for the rest of your life.
