November 30, 200916 yr A thread inspired by an online conversation... is anyone else on this board a fan of legos, or were once a fan? I remember Legos being one of my favorite childhood toys and I remember having friends and my brother play with them. I dunno about you guys but I was never really into building the sets. I mean I might build them once but then take them apart to I could build my own thing. Anyone else have any similar stories? Thinking about legos now, i'll be quite honest... if I wasn't too old i'd probably still play with them now haha :P

December 1, 200916 yr I remember when my brother had that Box with over 1000 legos in it. :wacky: How did I end up to be the one always cleaning them up?
December 1, 200916 yr I still love lego. :nice: It's the best toy ever. We still have a huge box of it. And because i have a younger brother and my mom looks after children, i have an excuse to play with it. :laugh4: Surely, i'm not the only person who attempted to make Bart Simpson? I made Homer's face one day, that was impressive :smug: :laugh4: but not really :P
December 1, 200916 yr Yes, I used to love Legos, definitely one of my favorite toys growing up. Lincoln Logs (Legos grandparents) were pretty cool too. There is a Lego store down in Disneyworld, where there are many spectacular displays. There was even a Loch Ness monster in the river outside the store (it was VERY big, I can only imagine how long it took to build it).
December 1, 200916 yr My friend's mom gave him spending money and he spent it on Legos and his mom got mad. What the fuck? She said something to the effect of "I thought you were going to spend it on a PlayStation game or something, but you waste it on LEGOS?!??!" True story.
December 1, 200916 yr I used to be obsessed with Bionicle. Fucking OBSESSED. :disappointed: Ahaha, I had two of the bionicle dudes from the first series they had.

True story. wow... honestly i never was really big into video games. i mean of course i'd play them but wasn't obsessed with them. I'd take legos anyday... pushes your mind to be creative. though i must say that lego batman is awesome :D ...i feel like such a nerd :P
December 1, 200916 yr Ahaha, I had two of the bionicle dudes from the first series they had. LOL two of the BIONICLE DUDES xD (sorry, my douchebag superior fan self from when I was 11 is kicking in >.>) well which ones were they, were they Toa or wat? I could name almost all of them until I had to quit collecting I think. I was like DEEP INTO the nerdy story aspect of it. DEEP INTO it. Like DEEP.
December 1, 200916 yr Yeah, the Toa. I had the black one and the white one. I can't remember their names. Onua and something.
December 1, 200916 yr The hardest part is when you try to pull each blocks apart, and it's difficult to do since the jointed blocks are sticking together and you fingers will slip and get pissed off then throw it on the floor.
December 1, 200916 yr I really enjoyed playing with legos, but because I was the youngest of 5 I always had to find the 'right' piece for my siblings or give them the ones I already had :mean: but I do recall that when ever we went to disney world we would go to downtown disney and spend hours in the lego store there ;)
December 2, 200916 yr Yeah, the Toa. I had the black one and the white one. I can't remember their names. Onua and something. Kopaka. Onua's the Toa of Earth and Kopaka's the Toa of Ice. ^-^
December 2, 200916 yr LEGO is great! :) My brother was the LEGO enthusiast though, but sometimes he let me build along. I like the fact that LEGO is Danish too. :D
