December 19, 200916 yr Yeah, madly ridiculous. Kind of sad really. Let him stew in his own callowness.
December 19, 200916 yr not to cause drama.. but gay/bi is a choice.. I would know.. because my friend Breanna went from straight to bi to straight.. you can be born on the opposite sex's side, but that doesn't mean you have to get in bed with or date the same sex if you don't believe me, I even have a few bi friends who can tell you the same thing and.. if you wanna go ahead and turn this whole board against me, I don't care now I know why you guys are against Christianity, thats just wrong I'm not really for the whole death thing though You are such a moron. I'm not saying culture has nothing at all to do with sexuality but when it comes down to it you don't seriously fucking choose your sexual preference -- either you're a dude exposed to more estrogen in the uterus or you're a chick exposed to more testosterone , is the condensed version. Read up on the fucking facts. You can't trust your little Christian church or whatever for everthing.
December 19, 200916 yr Author I'm starting to feel this should be locked or something :disappointed: *hates self*

I don't think it's as simple as you are making it out to be, lack of testosterone is not the cause of homosexuality.
December 19, 200916 yr I don't think it's as simple as you are making it out to be, lack of testosterone is not the cause of homosexuality. No I know, but trust me, he wouldn't understand a more technical explanation :P
December 19, 200916 yr There isn't even conclusive evidence for what causes it though, so any extensive and technical explanation would just still be speculation.
December 19, 200916 yr Well, yeah... but hormones as the child's developing are basically pretty solidly considered to be major components of homosexuality right now.
December 19, 200916 yr Um, what exactly is your point here? that homosexuals carry more HIV/AIDS in Africa so it is a logical reason to kill them there? Just for your information, heterosexuals transmit the majority of HIV/AIDS cases in Africa. HIV/AIDS is not a gay disease. I know it's not a disease that only teh gays can carry... but if you read Gay rights activists say the bill, which has prompted growing international opposition, promotes hatred and could set back efforts to combat HIV/AIDS. The Ugandan legislation in its current form would mandate a death sentence for active homosexuals living with HIV or in cases of same-sex rape. "Serial offenders" also could face capital punishment, but the legislation does not define the term. Anyone convicted of a homosexual act faces life imprisonment. The article is not talking strictly about "DEATH TO GAYS" it's about combating HIV/AIDS also. Thus I used an example to illustrate how practices like "kill the diseased" were used and openly accepted in ye olden times, and these practices are nothing new, merely now they are kept hush-hush. Yeah it's disturbing that this stuff was done but it was and everyone thought it was okay, now our attitudes have shifted but not everyone's. I'm amused you think I am homophobic for this reply though, I haven't said a thing endorsing or supporting this stuff. In fact it's a very wrong thing to do, and not to mention counter-productive... if I am so hateful, why do I hang out with the gay? Why do I date someone who is bi? Why do I sometimes question my sexuality sometimes? You should really stop being so judgmental, I know my post sounded bad but that wasn't the intent. I have no problem with anyone who is gay or bi.

Cobalt, I appreciate you taking the time to respond to me. I am glad to know that it was not your intent for your post to come across the way it did. Many other people thought it was an insensitive post too. I get really sensitive about topics of this nature so I can get really defensive. I don't think you are homophobic and it sounds like you are a very open and understanding person. I apologize if I upset you.
December 20, 200916 yr Yeah I kinda was pretty offended... but I tend to word things wrongly a lot of the time, real life too. I s'pose it was just the wrong topic to be all "insert historical example here"
