My parents are both Christian homophobes who view homosexuals as sick people, and I'm afraid both of my brothers (particularly the younger of the two) will turn out the same way. Every time something involving one of them comes up, they sit there and bash the poor person, telling them they're going to burn in hell. Reading this article reminded me of that in a way, although I doubt my parents would run around killing people because of that. Discrimination, particularly to the point of genocide, is unacceptable and should be stopped.

Many people have reacted in this thread like this is the first time legislation such as this has been considered, and it hasnt been passed yet.

Well, people with mental illnesses used to be stoned to death to avoid spoiling the gene pool, now everyone is bleating on about how the rate of those illnesses whatever are rising. It's one way to deal with one part of HIV/AIDS and easier than trying to control the disease by coming up with vaccines and the sort, whether it is a humane one of course pretty much nobody will agree with.

 

Um, what exactly is your point here? that homosexuals carry more HIV/AIDS in Africa so it is a logical reason to kill them there? Just for your information, heterosexuals transmit the majority of HIV/AIDS cases in Africa. HIV/AIDS is not a gay disease.
