i watched it in 3-d about a month ago and i fully think it deserves best picture, and cameron deserved something for himself. storyline was great, excellent acting, and the visuals? fuckin phenomenal.

 

realize how long it took James to think of everything in that movie?hes been working on it since middle school. the plants,animals, literally everything. all the minor details in it are stunning and unbelievably done. i do want to see it in 2d though. people say you can appreciate it more in 2d than 3d somehow.

I think the main theme despite all the action and graphics is the love between The blue girl and Jake Sully and their from two different seperate races and despite the diffenrence they still and love each other...

 

fav part in the movie when the blue girl fnally sees the real Jake Sully in the brink of death but saves him << -- Completely orignal and kinda made me teary eyed/. HAHA

I've seen that before, things like that are stupid, you can twist a lot of things to make them sound like they are copying others, it has a similar theme and general things happen that tbh happen in most films, not exclusive to Pocahantas. It's incredibly forced and it only works becuase of the way he's worded the initial writing.

I burst out laughing when I heard the word "Unobtainium" mentioned, what a piece of shit.

I believe that this is the movie that rock me, And special effects of the movie that are impeccable and he uses them well. Instead of just shoving them in your face, he weaves them into the story beautifully, and they come off effortlessly. Although, It had a very great story, mixed with so much adventure.
