Anyone catch this? the idea was cool and all (acapella VLV), but executed kind of strangely... looking for a clip.... will post when i find it...

My friend texted me and told me to turn on nbc...I was like :stunned: it was freaky in a way but also very cool :thinking: :cool: And I laughed at what the judge said..."When you broke it down it was like...Coldplay in da club!" :lol:

I liked it a lot, but the Beelzebubs are still my faves. (They're local, and they're all nerdy~)

This is the closest thing to seeing Coldplay on Glee we'll get.... until the boys let Glee use their songs~

hahah I also laughed out loud when I heard that. This is my first night watching, but I def. liked the Beelzebubs best so far too. and you're right...this is the best thing to Coldplay on Glee. How freaking awesome would that be? *squeals a bit inside*

I can't remember... I feel like he said he liked it but would like to have heard more "quiet moments" b/c he likes dynamics in music...he liked how the one girl sang a semi-bass to give them some depth

Er what show or thing is this?

It's a show on NBC that showcases acapella groups doing all kinds of songs...it's an elimination show and whoever wins, wins....well, I don't know, but something good, I'm sure. :)

I've been watching this because I attend Lee University which is a pretty small school with a great music program, so it's awesome that we're on a show like this. The mormon girls were off-pitch, I liked the church bell addition but when they broke it down, the whole thing got ruined. They got eliminated btw, but there were worse groups.

I KNEW it was them!! I was on my laptop and had ugly betty playing on the telly and i was like "WAIT A MINUTE!!! THAT SOUNDS LIKE CHRIS!!!!!!!!" haha

I get what that group was trying to do with VLV but it's not really my thing.
