Was anybody else angered upon hearing about this?

 

Personally I'm furious, because I love what Conan has done on the Tonight Show. I think NBC is making a huge mistake by doing this. If you've ever heard the saying "you can't go back home" then you know what I mean......

NBC made an idiotic choice in practically firing Conan. He's the man.

well, he's not technically 'fired'... as much as he's practically resigned. He does have a contract... and they are just playing favorites here. NBC exec who decided to cater to flippin Jay Leno.. should be canned. Leno is not even responding to the statement Conan put out earlier in the week. And even though its not Jay's choice... he's just doing what the network is telling him to do.. he's a weenie for not standing up for Conan. Conan respects Jimmy Fallon, and the integrity of The Tonigh Show.. and I am so proud of what he's done there.

 

I hope he prevails.. and now when I watch the show.. I always feel so humbled by the crowd response as I am sure he does. :) LOVE ME SOME COCO!!!

^Dave ratings are the highest ever at the moment I think LOL but a lot of people are tuning into Conan to show their support.

When I was younger, I actually used to like Leno. But after I saw Conan on Late Night for the first time, I realized what real late night comedy is like.

Late Night tv is so cut throat. They are idiots at NBC and they screwed over everybody. As far as Leno and Conan, I didn't like Conan at first, but then I kind of got use to him. His announcer is annoying and I can't stand that stupid puppet dog. I like them both, but it does seem like everybody is making Leno out to be the bad guy when it really isn't his fault. I bet Leno, Conan, and Letterman's ratings have gone up since everybody is tuning in to hear all the cheap shots everybody is taking at each other.

No, it's not directly his fault. But I think it would be nice if Leno stuck up for Conan a bit. When Conan replaced Leno, he was very good about it, mentioning how great Leno is and hwo he felt bad about things.

 

But that's beside the point. My real issue is just that I feel Conan is a better host than Leno and they haven't given him enough of a chance.

I hear NBC is giving Conan 40 million dollars to go away. Not a bad deal if you asked me.
