But if everyone thinks like this then nobody will ever pick it up....a pity

I'll make someone else pick it up and I'll listen in on the conversation. :P

ive seen movie 'the phone booth' or however it was called, so no

though i dont really remember that movie

Not after watching Phone Booth...

the movie was ok i guess

I'm tempted to call one just to see if anyone will pick up.

I have once before, and they asked me if I was someone they knew (Can't remember the name) and told them I wasn't and they hung up. It was a pretty bad neighbourhood and they sounded dodgy, I'd still do it again though.

Yeah, I'd answer it, I suppose out of common courtesy. Kind of like when people leave messages on my answering machine for someone else, but thinking they actually called the right person. If they leave a call back number, I call them back and say hey bro you got the wrong number. They appreciate that, because then they don't wonder why the person they meant to call hasn't called them back yet. Same kind of principle.
