Hi everybody :) I'm sorry for 2 things :

But here we go !

 

I went this week to Disneyland Paris, and in a steel called Rock'n'Roller Coaster. here's a picture of it :

 

 

You guessed it, it is a roller coaster about rock'n'roll. And in the queue, you can admire many objects from bands : Gold and Diamond discs, scene jackets -one is from Radiohead-, and guitars. There are guitars from AC/DC, Green Day, Supertramp... and Coldplay. I took some pictures for you :)

 

 

There is also a poster of Parachute's cover and some of my french mates told me that sometimes they play Yellow in the speakers while you're waiting.

 

Now I'm talking to the Coldplay experts : I would like to know if anybody here knows where that guitar comes from. :lol: Whose guitar was it ? Did they used it ? Where and when ? Thank you in advance if you can satisfy my curiosity. :)

Please don't worry about your English -- the great thing about this place is that we're from all over the world so people understand. Besides, you should see my French!

 

At first glance, I'm fairly certain that it's not one of the auction items from the EODCS sale as I've reviewed the catalogue so often that I think I have all the instruments pretty well memorized. Besides, they didn't sign the actual instruments featured in the auction whereas this guitar is obviously autographed. I know, not much help but narrowing things down by getting rid of things it's NOT can be helpful too. :\

 

Quite possibly Disneyland Paris asked for signed items because Yellow plays while people stand in queue, some sort of liscencing agreement between the band/record label and Disney would be in place. Great question for you to ask the Oracle! :)

I have no idea when that guitar was signed but i sure like looking at it. :) Thanks alot for posting! Now I know where I'll go if I ever find myself visiting Disneyland! :dance: And I can't promise I won't break my spotless criminal record in order to get my hands on that guitar...:guitarist:

If I had lots n' lots of money, I would've tried to buy it off of them. :D

Great ! Enjoy... :) but be careful. There are 2 parcs in Disneyland Paris : the big, main and famous one, with the pink castle, Space Moutain etc. And there is a second one, named "Disney Studios", where the Rock'n'Roller Coaster is. And, yes, you need an extra ticket... :\ I recommend to take a "pass" for the 2 parcs :) And if you're going to "Disney Studios", please get in the Hollywood Tower Of Terror :P
