Hey, coldplayers

I have been hearing some rumors about the forum closing because of the lack of sponsorship. My suggestion would be to get the members involved. If every member paid just one dollar they'd have enough to keep the forum going and though all members might not be able to afford it. I know that there are mny who will be willing to pay to see this forum remain open...

Think about it.

It might not be the perfect solution but it's one worth considering....

This is also a thread where people talk to themselves when they are apparently tired of bashing others and making themselves feel good about it.

Closing or not.. 70% procent of the people that makes this board awesome will leave or at least stop posting for a while..

 

And 99% of all users will look to this board in a different way from now on.

Don't put words in my mouth, I just said it's closing when the sponsorship deals run out.

 

The real reason it's closing is Nathan said Ian's sock was in Mark's mouth. So you could say it's closing because of members like me, especially since I'M SO MUCH LIKE NATHAN and everything

The board slows down around the winter time I guess, I doubt that this is because lack of sponsorship though.

It's because of people wanting to speak what's on their mind, and not get ignored or banned for doing so. I believe that they are right though, I mean just because the people in charge doesn't agree, doesn't mean that he/she can control what everyone else can see. I mean we have a right to view two sides to a legitimate argument.

In the summer it picks up a lot, trust me. I'm just waiting till then to really get involved again, because everyone comes on then.

I've missed a bit of stuff though, so correct me or catch me up if I'm wrong :confused:.

I think from the beginning that this board needed an age limit and little kids should have been sent to play somewhere else... I can stand when people get petty over a bunch of shite,,, I just have a low tolerance for assholes...

thank you very much... i always assumed that this was a place for proper adult views and discussion about the band and if the people on here acted like aduilts then we wouldn't even be having these kinds of issues....... I think this board needs to have a bit of spring cleaning......... :D

It doesn't matter how this mess be cleaned up.. but please do it wisely and with love and no hate.. Coldplaying must be a huge family and not a warzone...

 

So to the mods/admins AND ofcourse everybody: Don't delete and/or create threads with no reason or because you are mad.

And if you want to say your point.. make it in ONE thread and not in 50 different threads.

I can tell that it won't work in THIS way it's happening right now.

If you feel mad at someone, ignore him and don't say everywhere: 'I hate him/her'... you'll only make more people mad or feel bad and THAT is creating THIS mess.

how is that a problem? I'm not saying anything about maturity. Isn't it a bit ironic that you're generalizing about teens being idiots?

There's no way of proving that, but that's not the point. This is not a board created for teenagers. It's a forum for Coldplay fans of all ages. There is meant to be no discriminination on here.

Therefore if teenagers are uncomfortable chatting on a public forum with non-teenagers, they should go elsewhere. Plain and simple.;)
