I disagreed with how Ian ran the place recently, but these threads trying to coax him to keep it are a tad ridiculous. If he's going to run it, I'll complain if he's not running it well. If he doesn't want to run it, that's fair enough. It's up to him.

Well this is kindof a thread saying the same thing. How am I freaking out? I'm simply saying, let Ian decide what he wants to do.

 

Also, I don't know if it's going to happen yet, but he has said directly in a polite manner that he plans to shut it down, and that we should all grab our coldplaying friends and get prepared to hold onto them outside of this forum. In my view, it's pretty much happening, unless it's a bluff, but that's what he said.

In all honesty, CPing brought good and shitty things to me, but not because of that I want it gone.

Now, my way of "dealing" with this is just trying to be rational, cos to be honest, Ian is pretty mad right now, and he'll just end up doing what he thinks is the best thing to do, and no one, even die hard CPing lovers or CPing haters will change that.

Well, add me, Ian pays for the board so it is his choice to close it down. This whole kahooey is hardly surprising to me, he's had problems dealing with fights involving several members in the past and people have complained. But I respect that it is his choice.
