I really hope we win. For the green bearded man. :P

Here's how it works here:

If none of the candidates accomplishes 51% of the total votes on first round (the minimal required to win) there must be a second voting round, only between the two most voted candidates and wins the one with the most voting.

And thank you! about 10 hours only left to start...

I thought you said he had a very good chance, why are you sooo wrong?

I think that what we observe right now is a consequence of the volatility of the opinonated vote the candidate Mockus has been relying on during his campaign. The other candidate has the support of the very well stablished party right now in the goverment.

I'm hopeful Santos stays behind the 51% which would let him win right now.

I actually think that Uribe did a good job, just saying as a far-away-not-well-informed person.

99,17% of the total votes

46,57% Juan Manuel Santos

21,47% Antanas Mockus

10,15% Germán Vargas Lleras

9,16% Gustavo Petro

Since none of the candidates achieved 50% + 1 of the total votes, there will be a second round on June 20th.

I actually feel... sad? ... That people from my country might deserve what they get? Can't we aim for any better?

what a fucking disapointment. I can't believe that pig Santos almost won.

Don't worry, sometimes people learn from their mistakes.. we even had one our president impeached. what a shame! But the actual president is nothing to compare, she didn't come from any party, and she managed to win in the first round. :)

Yesterday I read an article about Mockus in a regional newspaper and he seems to be such an idealist.. not many people are like that nowadays and especially politicians!

Thanks Onute. :) I really hope that we start learning from our mistakes... And yes! he's an idealist and I think that's what we need in our country... ideals that life is sacred and that public money is sacred...

I can't wait to finish my semester and start supporting 100% the green campaign!

Well, I inform you. That's so 2004.

The assumption now is that Santos is also going to win the second one on June 20th.

Right... but a second round it's like a second time of a football game... almost anything can happen.

Many of us are actually waiting for a miracle to happen. A LOT of people need to understand... :\

Isn't Santos like the new Uribe?
