Their debut album, Treats, has just recently been released I definitely think people should be listening to it. They work under the genre of noise-pop and been getting outstanding reviews, with a average metacritic rating of 87%.

I've been hesitant to listen to it because of the genre. I guess I should really give it a shot though.

I personally didn't think I would like it either but I was suprised.

Errr. Didn't like that song.

It's not the album of the year and I will certainly forget it before the end of 2010 but it worth a listen. There are some good songs like Tell 'em, Riot Rhythm, Kids, Infinity Guitars and my favorit Straight A's.

Fresh and fun.

I gave Treats a listen a day or two ago.

 

They are alright.

 

The album isn't good, but it isn't bad. Nothing sparked my attention but it was still an interesting listen.

well I mean it isn't something I could listen to for more than about 10 minutes at a time but in small doses I like it

I quite like them, but there isn't much variety in their songs... a "small doses" band for me too

this might go down as another one of my unpopular comparisons. but i prefer Crystal Castles, they just make more interesting music. although im enjoying this sleigh bells record more than i thought i would.

I know that "Tell 'Em" is being promoted as their big song, but I don't like it at all. In fact, I find this song to be much better:

A friend of mine who is obsessed with them made me listen to them but I really didn't like it. But maybe I need to give it another listen... :shrug:

I prefer Crystal Castles as well but these guys have a different sort of style to them that I really enjoy.
