:confused: Really? It's the exact opposite for me. It kind of helps me concentrate because that way I'm not distracted by random sounds, conversations, etc.

I can usually concentrate if it's only instrumental...but if there are lyrics, I start paying attention to that instead of my notes. :disappointed:

The new MIT album....I love it and it is a band from Cologne and I want to support them...I love their music, their lyrics esp. since they are in german (the thing that made me realise that it is a shame how I've neglected german bands and german lyrics before)...I love that I saw them live 3 years ago and now they are back again...well yeah it's good to find the right stuff....most songs aren't on youtube anyways....seems to be hard to find them

Don't trust the people who work in admissions, registration, or academic advising at Brandon University. They are unqualified and really have no idea what they are taking about. It's easier to figure things out on your own because they just fuck everything up.

 

I learned that the hard way...now my whole transcript is a mess with AP transfer credits that I didn't want, nor did I need because even though they TOLD ME they would satisfy the pre-requisite, they don't. So now I can't register. Thank fuck I'm (hopefully) transferring to U of M.

^ I think there's something like that at every university you go to. My university has its own problems. They're accepting more people than they can house, the financial aid office screws up all the time, and the campus website/Wi-Fi shuts down more than it should.

Arrgghh I know, it's so hard! My university is totally out of money and they're cutting back all programs by 10%..a lot of people are now looking at 4 years to complete a 3 year degree.

The province is already paying 90% of the university's costs, so it's kind of pathetic that we can't even pay 10%! :laugh3:

Yeah, mine keeps raising tuition every year. There's a new bill out which will add needless fees, the most ridiculous of them being a $5 fee just to go get advised for classes. :|

well it is true. I think a lot of them I hate to say are just closet racists that don't like Obama. I mean honestly... Bush had enormous amounts of government spending and was most of the source (though clinton is to blame too) to the problems, yet the movement was only created now.

 

Of course though the party is mostly in the middle of the country where the hicks are :lol:
