Inception

It's possible that the entire thing was his dream and all the characters were projections of his mind.

I don't like to believe that though. But at the end, it seemed like he was still dreaming to me, especially because the kids looked the same.

Yeah, I thought that was odd too. They don't age for some reason.

I'm hoping he's not stuck in a dream, so I'm going to believe that the little wobble was the first sign of it falling. :D

You don't know that for sure :snobby:

It's not so much that they didn't age, it's that they were wearing the same clothes and had their backs to the camera the exact same way as throughout the whole movie (unless my memory is wrong).

But if it's his dream, then he can control what his top does so it's kind of irrelevant whether it fell or not.

there's not a lot of other things the tiny sound could have been

Everyone I know whose seen this has sounded as if they were handing out free LSD at the screening room door.

Well it was definitely a great mind fuck.

:bomb:

I want to go see it again. But I don't have $7. Disappointment.

i wanna see it a 3rd time

probably not gonna be able to though

im low on cash right now and not getting a lot of hours at my job

I think this movie looks pretty bad, to be honest :P

It's out here next week. I'll go, seeing as everyone likes it

DUDES, I saw it today. Freakin' awesome, and amazing cast.

edit; I was looking at my sig after I posted this and giggled.

It was awesome. The show, the concept, the visual, the movie. You wouldn't regret your money.

Mind-blowingly amazing. :awesome:

My favourite part would go to Arthur at dream stage 2, during the free fall. :awesome:

I'm going to see it again with a friend this afternoon. I can't wait.

3rd times a charm

I saw it a few days ago and my brain still hurts. Definitely have to pay attention to this move. Oh and the cast is perfection and gorgeous too. The end had me confused because people groaned so I didn't pay attention to the sound at the end. It will blow your mind.

a small ping it seems

only logical thing would be the top falling

Saw it today. Surprised that most people aren't calling it a matrix rip-off considering how shameless some of the comparisons are. That said...the superior acting, deeper creativity, stronger sense of empathy for the characters and general absence of keanu reeves puts parts of the matrix to shame. Unoriginal on the surface, but I feel like it did it the matrix better than the matrix, thus it was a really cool, enjoyable film that wasn't as contrived or gimmicky as I had feared...

I saw it today and I thought it was pretty good

I think I'm the only person in the world who has never seen the Matrix...

Is it better than the trailer makes it seem?

The trailer makes it seem like a very generic action movie but with a more of an alternative cast.

I think it has its place here. Gary from Snow Patrol wrote review and in true Gary style it's funny and witty. He's very enthousiastic

It's only coming out today in France and since I'm working, i'll only be able to see it staurday, but I've been waiting for this for sooo long, I'm excited  It doesn't surprise me that Gary loved it, it echoes all those fantastic reviews of this film.

I loved when he said: Think about the pitch meeting with the studio heads: “OK, I want to make a genre-humping, philosophical near 3 hour movie about dream thieves”?? Scratched heads all round… “Er, did I say there’d be explosions and Leo DiCaprio”. Ok, fair enough that may have sweetened the deal but still it’s immensely brave.

:laugh3: I guess he was not that far from the truth...!
