I totally forgot this,

Two weeks ago when we were dragged to go see eclipse my friend got an inception poster

Well a huge gust of wind blew in and ripped it out of those frames

and she ran away with it.

^^ I would've done the same thing.

a small ping it seems

only logical thing would be the top falling

Ahh, okay. I did hear that.

Nolan puts in things to make us believe it does.... and a few things (more obvious ones, in my opinion) that makes us believe it doesn't.

God he's a fantastic director.

:D!

I have a friend who works at a movie theater. She might be able to get me the poster for free... if not, I'm buying the poster to frame, and hang on my wall.

I want the soundtrack! The score was epic!

Yeahhhhhh! It was good.

i like the movie very much but i was a little bit disappointed by the only 2 minutes of appearance of Michael Caine. :(

Inception = perfection but The Dark Knight was a little bit more.

i need to watch it again...

That was one of the main reasons I went and saw it. It was full of great actors.

That. The music almost reminded me of Shutter Island actually, for those of you who saw it. Amazing.

that's right, but mostly The Dark Knight.

Well i went and saw this today. I absolutely LOVED it, despite the fact that there are some things i'm sure i must've missed cos i'm still trying to piece together parts of it now and i'm confused.:thinking: I left the cinema in a complete daze. I really want to go and watch it again now. :wacky::bomb:

Btw, please can someone tell me i'm not the only one here who feels a bit stupid for not quite understanding everything on the first viewing? :uhoh2::embarrassed:

trust me

you hear it at the end

I saw it for the second time today and I listened very intently at the end. No one made a sound and I didn't hear anything. :\

ok. I'm not sure if I'm going to watch this movie. Even y'all said it was great. To convince me, give me ten reasons as to why I should watch this movie.

GO.

Just go see it, go with a friend or something. Unless you can come up with ten reasons why you shouldn't :P

I'm going to see it tonight, can't wait!

It's not a 3D conversion, filmed properly for 2D ;)

I agree, The Dark Knight was awesomer, maybe because of how Heath Ledger really got into his character, and how in Inception, there is no real villain in the show.

But Batman's voice suck.

GO.

1. It's worth your money.

2. Joseph Gordon-Lewitt is amazing.

3. The visual is uber cool.

4. The director is Christopher Nolan.

5. Marion Cotillard's acting is good.

6. The concept of the show is amazing.

7. The movie proves how little things is taken into the show and is made into something important (Dreaming).

8. It's better than the other shows now.

9. SPOILER : Ariadne's imaginations when she was first introduced in the show.

10. SPOILER : Arthur in stage 2 of the dreams.

NOW, GO.

Yeah, it's amazing that it's 2D, not 3D, seemingly how every movie seems to be in 3D now. And such an amazing movie, is made for 2D.

Just saw it :awesome: As always with Nolan, he put on a masterpiece! Loved it! The action, the acting, the story, everything is full of details and meanings! But the end :bomb: hurt my brain XD

it also uses minimal CGI, including simulating zero gravity, in this day & age of (possible) over reliance on computing wizardry & the overhyping of the 3D experience.

also, if you are a student doing/going to go into media studies or film studies (or anything field of study related to narrative structure and presentation), i forsee that this movie is going to be part of the syllabus...like how Nolan's much earlier masterpiece 'Memento' is.

Saw it today. Surprised that most people aren't calling it a matrix rip-off considering how shameless some of the comparisons are. That said...the superior acting, deeper creativity, stronger sense of empathy for the characters and general absence of keanu reeves puts parts of the matrix to shame. Unoriginal on the surface, but I feel like it did it the matrix better than the matrix, thus it was a really cool, enjoyable film that wasn't as contrived or gimmicky as I had feared...

you really thought this movie was an unoriginal plot?

I saw this and I thought it was AMAZING! :cheesy: :bomb: I really want to go see it again, with more friends. :awesome:

you really thought this movie was an unoriginal plot?

I don't believe I said that, I've read that the original concept for the movie dates way back, but the way it was adapted for the screen ripped off the matrix in numerous obvious ways. Multiple people being plugged into a machine causing them to be unconscious in reality but active in a simulated reality is unoriginal. The whole, 'we're dreaming? scene has its own parallel in the matrix. 'Walking around the dream (or program in the matrix) and demonstrating how the physics can be altered is unoriginal, the anti-gravity fight scenes were obviously inspired by the matrix.

That said, the initial concept and plot were very creative and original, as were the subplots, thus I really enjoyed it.

If this film doesn't win some Oscars next year I will eat my hat

I hope July isn't 'too early' for Oscar consideration. The Oscars suck for the very reason that they never consider a full year's worth of movies, but generally the most recent movies from each actor. But if they remembered to nominate The Dark Knight, they should remember this movie.
