Oh, and today is Zinedine Zidane's 40th birthday

I think his name sounds really funny!

^

He's one of the most famous French in the world.

Last year, 2 French journalists were liberated after being held for more than 500 days by Talibans in Afghanistan. When they were liberated, they told their story to the media, and they said that when they just got captured, they were put in a Toyota with other Talibans, and when they passed by villages, the Talibans would announce the capture by saying: "Zidane! Zidane!" because that's the only French reference they knew!

EURO 2012: ANGRY WIFE GIVES ENGLAND FAN THE RED CARD

ONE unlucky England fan looks to be in the doghouse when he returns from the Ukraine.

His partner hung a banner over a bridge declaring: “I hope the quarter finals are worth missing our anniversary for – don’t rush back!”

The angry message, scrawled in patriotic red and white, was directed at a man called Chris who appeared to have defied his wife’s wishes and flown out for the Euro 2012 clash with Italy tomorrow. It was spotted by motorists travelling along the A38 between Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield. Driver James Sporren, 30, of Lichfield, Staffs, said he had sympathy with “Chris”.

He added: “You shouldn’t make a man pick between his woman and his country.”

But fellow England fan Bob Sparling, of Birmingham, said: “Football is not the be all and end all. He’ll have hell to pay when he gets home.”

Well, I feel we could at least score 1 goal, but I'm not sure we're capable of 2 :\

Ever since I saw England come from behind vs. Sweden, I believe in miracles again!:D

ZZZZZZzzzzzz. Not the most thrilling of games! Pretty football == boring (most of the time).

Penalty for Spain!

2-0 :awesome:
