It will start in the UK in late Autumn, but an actual date hasn't been confirmed yet. People have been saying that it will start in October, so (maybe) just a few more months! :bomb:

they started showing repeats on BBC 1 this week

It's summer, time of repeats. Roll on September for the new season of tv programs to start

Ugh I can't wait until it's in the States too. :bomb:

This show was seriously my favorite. :cheesy:

So an exact UK date still hasn't been confirmed, but it has been announced that Sherlock will premiere in the U.S. in May 2012 on PBS.

. . . yeah, I refuse to wait that long. :ninja:

Okaaaaaay, it looks like the UK premiere has been pushed back from this Autumn to "very early" 2012. Or late December. :blank:

Although, I guess it was never really confirmed that it would start in Autumn, but just based on fan speculation. :anxious:

^ugh that's too long!

Much too long.

I reckon it will be a key part of the BBC's Christmas line-up, maybe even an episode on Christmas Day!

They're finally showing re-runs of it in the US, so I can catch up on the first 1 and a half episodes I missed. :dazzled:

This show is seriously awesome, seeing the re-runs has reminded me how much I love this show. :awesome:

And I'd rather it take a while to film and be good quality than get the new episodes quickly and have them be disappointing.

Bumpity bump, because I can't contain my excitement and my obsession with this show is ridiculous.

Mark Gatiss said they'll deliver the finished episodes by November, and the first episode (A Scandal in Belgravia) will premiere at the British Film Institute on December 6th, followed by a Q&A with the cast and crew.

There's still no confirmed air date, though.

Oh, and . . .
