Sherlock gets second series on BBC One

Crime drama Sherlock is to get a second series, the BBC has confirmed as part of a raft of new commissions.

Its three-part first series, starring Benedict Cumberbatch in a contemporary take on the classic detective, attracted around nine million viewers.

Creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat have promised "baffling new puzzles, old friends and new enemies" in three new episodes due in autumn 2011.

A year to wait for new episodes :(

Yeah but at least, we'll have new episodes!

Here a little bit of the unaired pilot...It's weird. They really really changed a lot of stuff and it's less funny. I'm glad they changed it!

I don't understand, what happened to pilot? the pilot should be the fist of the series, even before episode 1 or smth? but i've never seen pilot, haven't found where to download

Pilot is episode 1. It's usually called that cause they don't know if there will be an episode 2 after the screen tests.

And this pilot, is as Dargarius said on the bonus of the DVD :)

A Study in Pink, on PBS TONIGHT people!

WHA?! Of all days/weeks to not have a TV. Sort of. :bigcry:

Love this show. I already watched it when it first came out but now I'm watching it again on PBS.

I just finished watching the first episode, and I thought it was fantastic! Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are great together, and I love the cleverness of the show.

Can't wait to watch the rest! And I'm glad they're making a second series.

:laugh3: I have watched on the internet,I like Martin Freeman XD

I just watched the first episode and I really enjoyed it. Sure beats the 2009 movie with RDJ. :awesome:

Too bad there are only three episodes though.
