What a brilliant program! The presenter is great. How anyone can be sucked in by this nonsense conspiracy I dont know. Have you seen loose change? Its the most bias load of bullshit ive ever seen.

I find it extremely offensive and idiotic of people to believe that 9/11 was done by the government. I mean there would be no way for the government to plan such an elaborate event as 9/11 AND get away with out. There would at least be someone that would leak information if it was true... which it isn't.

Also people have mentioned that explosives were used to collapse the buildings. This is another point I find rediculous. With such a big explosion from the airplane, the leaking jet fuel that was on fire with the intense heat and the immense weight of the building above the crash sites in the WTC, there is no question that the buildings collapsed because of the plane crashes... I think any rational person would come to this conclusion.

Watching this Penn and Teller thing is great how they debunk it all... the conspiracy theories these people create are rediculous.

I have seen loose change, and it sucks. But in grade 11, my English teacher, who is a big conspiracy theorist made us watch Zeitgiest in class :dozey: That movie is the worst piece of shit I have seen

will do!

I would like to interject in accordance to a point made on a previous page in order to give my opinion on Mormon's given the fact I once dated a lapsed Mormon for almost a year (her family were Mormon's although she was not, though I have been to the church and read the material - simply as a gesture to her parents, not with any intention of joining due to my anti-organised religion views) and feel I have a greater knowledge of what the religion is about compared to others, particularly anybody who basis their opinions on the South Park episode involving the Mormon church. I believe that whilst Mormon's do indeed believe in a massive load of bollocks, it is only as ridiculous as other organised religions and that they are far less harmful to none believers (and indeed their own believers) than many other faiths.

There are also a large amount of myths surrounding the church as to their belief's, for example that the male members of the church are permitted multiple wives (this is not true, though happened for a brief time until 1890 due to the persecution and murder of a high percentage of the male members of the church for not following more traditional religious belief's. It was put in place in order to repopulate the church and was suspended once this had been achieved and never proposed or even considered again).

However, their views on homosexuals (who may join if they are not practising homosexuals), Christ's pending return to free everybody of the evil thus creating a heaven on earth and the continuous stream of prophets heading the organisation (similar to what the Catholic church achieves with their divine Pope) is not good and this leads me to abhor their teachings almost as much as the more militant religions, of which there are plenty.

^ Because of your post I just had an advert for mormon.org show up on the top advert banner. Thanks bunches.

More specifically, mormon.org/helen (apparently people telling their Mormon stories or something like that).

Would it make you happy if it did? :awesome:

It didn't, but it certainly made me laugh!

Of course not. I was just surprised you seemed so annoyed :p

One thing I do enjoy doing to people though, when I have known them for around a week or so, if we are friends, is just casually drop in 'So, are you familiar with the good word of the Lord' into polite conversation, and watch their faces drop. Then laugh and watch the relief.

I have an idea for discussion involving jellyfish. I'll message you tonight about it Arwen. I made this post so I won't forget, it isn't pointless. Plus someone can remind me if I forget.
