The reporter from BBC meant that it probably said: Long live, Chile!!

 

It means: Mission accomplished (completed) - CHILE!

 

The reporter has just corrected what the text said. He said that the glare meant that he could not see what was actually written on the banner unfolded.

 

 

The operation of rescue of the 33 trapped miners took 22 hours and 42 minutes. Originally, the rescue operation was expected to take 48 hours, but everything went so smoothly.

oh my God! That is amazing!! This makes me smile :D I'm glad they all came out alive! My friend was telling me about one of the miners who said they didn't wanted to come out 'cause his wife and the mistress were there hahaha made me laugh so much :laugh3::D

Finally it's over and everyone's safe so I can just say it; why does anyone care?

 

It's terrible to see such an insane media surge over something that really does not matter to the rest of the world.

what an AMAZING story! I am so glad to see they all made it out safely... I was on pins and needles watching them get lifted! I was a wreck! :( and then the emotion when the 1st miner reached the surface and was reunited with his wife and kid.... :cry: I lost it.
