if my computer has no place for plugging in a mic, is there anything I can do? :freak:

There must be a place for a mic...There is on every computer..unless you have a laptop..?

I'm pretty sure I've looked all over.

 

It's a bit old though, has an 8.4GB hard drive, and has windows 2000 (there's a sticker that says "designed for windows 98" on it, haha), and yeah.

Maybe mics didn't exist back then. :wacky:

You can get USB microphones... does your computer have a USB slot?

might be worthy buying an usb hub, it will give you extra 3 or 4 usb connections. :thinking:

Even computers that old should have mic ports - they just might not necessarily be colored pink in their innards. Look for the mic symbol next to a port of appropriate size.

If you don't have one an USB sound card is the right thing for you. :)
