In the Netherlands cars have to stop for a zebra crossing.

well the rule is pedestrians have the right of way but that never happens, a pedestrian has to wait until there are no cars unless there happens to be a cop or a crossing guard for the kids walking to school even then its dangerous, peeps are talking on the phones, ipods on and no one is paying attention
