I didn't get a chance to see it. :( I wonder if it will do as well at the Academy Awards.

 

I don't really like the Golden Globes because it seems more like a popularity contest than anything. I mean, seriously, Glee won for best comedy? :facepalm:

Don't care for the Golden Globes but I've been wanting to see the Social Network and haven't gotten around to it yet.

I am really glad The Social Network won a few. I don't think Inception deserved any of them.

 

I am also quite mad that The Pacific did not win best mini series. I haven't seen the one that won though...

I think Inception was more deserving. But I'm not a critic. :shrug:

It was a very good watch. Plus that Garfield guy is so fucking attractive.

I don't think it will, I was saying this to Karen earlier, but I think Inception is a lot more "Oscar-flavored" than The Social Network. And yeah the awards are popularity contests, they have groups of people voting for stuff so by definitio, yeah, popularity is gonna be a factor. :P

Yeah, it was well deserved. Jim Parsons does a great job.

Someone in my residence got a huge RDJ head cutout and stuck it in their living room window, and their suite is right is upfront and center when you get on the res. So you look up and there's a giant RDJ head. It's pretty epic.

 

Gervais was being a bit of a ****.

Yeah he was but I thought it was funny, I don't want to watch The Golden Globes to see boring old fake actors being fake about how great they don't really think each other's work is, I want to watch it to be entertained, and damned if I wasn't. None of it was hideously offensive either.

I thought it was a bit much.

I thought when RDJ said that it was terribly nasty or whatever, though, he was being very dry, but everyone else is acting like he fucking slammed Gervais or something... :shrug:
