Violet
On "Super Smash Bros. Brawl," there's a "my music" function where you can go and listen to all the music present on the game, divided by stages and such. A lot of the music they have on there is great, particularly for "Metal Gear Solid."

PolarMonkey
i never knew that video game music's called "chiptune"...something new learnt! :) & my fave are all Square Enix games. Nobuo Uematsu's scores for the Final Fantasy series & Yoko Shimomura's scores for the Kingdom Hearts series. if you guys ever get the chance to see VGM/chiptunes performed live by a full symphonic orchestra & choir aka the "Final Fantasy concerts" or the 'Play! A Video Game Symphony' concerts...GO. frigging amazing stuff! with the video game cutscenes playing on big screens while the music's performed live. Cobalt
Does the music for the game series "Guitar Hero" count? ....no. i never knew that video game music's called "chiptune"...something new learnt! :) Well, not all video game music is chiptune. Typically chiptune music is found on 8-bit systems (Gameboy, NES) There's also module music, which I tend to lean towards.
