Bumping five year old spam threads is indeed a very terrible thing for a forum moderator to do.

If one of us would have given a cookie to everyone who had bumped an old thread, surely we'll need to open a bakery.

 

plus as if to keep organized, mods merge a new thread that already existed before (and so apparently the old thread had been bumped when had not), then why not bump an old thread directly?

A spam link will link to a dodgy site where you can get ripped off buying fake products
