That's a good question! It's called the Super Bowl because it started as an actual Bowl Game between the separate winners of two different football (American Rugby) leagues - the AFC or then AFL, and the NFC or then NFL. So the two rival leagues had this bowl game to decide who was the best of the best from each, hence the Super Bowl. And which teams played in the first Super Bowl?

Compared to other years the commercials this year sucked!!! Too many NFL and Car commercials. I liked the Darth Vader and E Trade baby commercials, altho, the Etrade baby commercials have been better in the past!! The Game sucked as well.

 

Dinner was: Chicken Wings, Pastry with meat and cheese in the middle, Potato skins with cheese and bacon, cheese sticks with slasa, and Chips and Salsa, sausage rolls!!!:D

YAY!!!! Green Bay Won the Super Bowl & the Vince Lombardi Trophy !!!! Great Game though, the Steelers played excellent football!

Totally agree..... I was rooting for them as well, and I thought the Pitts could have done a better job!!!

They made a valiant effort in the second half, truth be told. It just wasn't enough. :\

Hey, don't feel bad - it was at one point very close, and considering both teams were wearing gold uniforms, I expected mistakes like that to happen on both sides! Like trying to guess the puzzle piece to select next, only with a lot of pressure to get it right in seconds - pretty hard to do for anyone!

I was hoping for a tie game - that would have been a first!:laugh3:

It's whatever. I'm not that bothered that Green Bay won. Honestly, I was glad that the Patriots weren't in it again...
