vista sucks,it is the slowest system ever

Featured Replies

I myself have a mac book pro for production so when I come to visit family on the weekend i sometimes bring it.but decided to leave work/play at home this time and tried the vista 4 a while.what the?

I mean WHAT WAS BILL GATES THINKING.It is slow everything has way too much graphics.A 2.5ghz on mac would be great so.

So I thought out what he there was a theme 4 vista that changed it to mac.WOW WOW and there is. So being the tech wizz I claim to be I decided to devote my attention to the procedure of changing it.actually quite simple but very time consuming. However the finished product is amazing. Its faster and it looks so much neater and cooler.I was shocked at how much of a difference it made.Oh and my brother couldn't believe it.

So basically your saying that the overpriced walled garden Macs are better than Windows PCs?

Just wait until your Mac breaks down and you have to pay over-the-odds to get it repaired.

Bill Gates doesn't even care.

He's to busy counting his massive pile of cash with Mr Jobs to care

Deleting system32 will also increase the efficiency of Vista.

Steve Jobs

But yeah what Dave said. Too overpriced. :P

depends on how much you value it. if i had to pay $700 for a PC i would feel like i was being ripped off because i don't think they're worth that much. but if i was to buy a Mac with the same tech specs for $1200 i would say it is well worth it for what you get (i got a free ipod touch and multi function printer with my macbook pro)

Quite a few PCs are $700+... I would say decent new ones seem to come in at the 900 mark, but depends where you shop.

i paid about 1300 for my PC (laptop) w/ Windows 7 :anxious:

I say around this part of the country a decent PC would set you back £500 for the entire package, if you want someone extra-fast to do video editing/games than it will be £700+

Mine cost £420 and I'm pretty happy with my laptop, speed is affected mostly by our internet connection.

Personally have had no issues with Vista. Parents have an all-in-one Mac that they paid too much for. Four years later, it's OS is outdated, but they cannot move to Leopard, because they don't have enough memory. The entire thing is tapped, and it's slower than blue hair drivers in south Florida. They cannot update the wreck known as Safari, iTunes, or any other apple related program. Sooo, they're hoping to pay a couple hundred dollars to Apple to upgrade it, but I've heard they' may be told they will need purchase a new one. Either way, my $1100 HP with the evil evil Vista is performing just fine.

I've always heard people complain about Vista but I don't recall having had any problems with it.

When it first came out it had some mild problems, but most of the problems it had when it came out has been fixed.

To be fair you do come across as one of those excessivly anti all things Apple people.

I've used Macs for the past 10 years or so and I've not once had one break or crash.

I can use a pc just fine and don't have anything bad to say about them either, I just prefer Mac OS to use, I don't see why people bother to get so tribal and defensive about Operating Systems.

I'm talking AUD, but I agree with those figures

HOW DARE YOU PASS THIS ISSUE OFF AS SOMETHING TRIVIAL!!!!!1!11 :bucktooth: I'LL HAF YOU KNOW MY OS SYSTEM IS THE BEST SET UP OF ALL TIMEFFFF:smart:
