I was wondering if we were still doing this. I'm glad we are.

Anyway.

Two Door Cinema Club is one of a group of bands I classify as my "feel good" music. This is pretty much my favorite of theirs. :wacky:

Sorry, I'm gonna have to drop some Coldplay in here for this one; I like to listen to The Goldrush when I'm happy :nice:

Remember hearing that song for the first time on an episode of Only Fools and Horses when I was a kid!

And most of Oasis' songs :)

Charlie McDonnell-This Is Me (album)

They make me laugh, so then I forget about my sadness :P

i'm finding it hard to answer these questions because i don't really associate certain music with certain emotions. but i'll keep trying

I was really sad since late yesterday for a range of reasons (and that was even long before I found out Sarah Jane had died.) Nothing was helping and everything was just irritating me and making me worse. And then I realized how long it had been since I had listened to Parachutes, and dug it out and it was exactly what I needed.

Say what you like about relative artistic merits, (Briggins! :P) but there's nothing better than early Coldplay for gentle, uplifting, meet you where you are music on a really bad day. It's like a warm blanket and a cup of tea when you need it most.

and only this version of the song helps no other versions

Coldplay - Such a rush

or

Evanescence - My immortal

^ I try not to listen to that Evanescence track when I'm sad. It just makes it worse. :disappointed:
