my mom wants to see it...

i saw it yesterday

i whole heartedly recommend this movie to anybody who even comes close to liking romantic comedies. this film is completely charming in so many different ways, and while it is not without its fault, the laughs are big and the message is good. the actors are all very charming, and it is well worth the expendature.

I'm going to see it this weekend...i'm excited..i love Hugh Grant and Colin Firth! Oh, and that part where Laura Linney is all ecstatic and she goes into the hallway and freaks is fuckin' hilarious! :D

It's in my 'films to see' list... when it comes out here :/ maybe Christmas

i give this movie an.. "eh, it's ok." not exactly what i expected.. but i guess entertaining.

I was waiting to see this movie ever since I saw the preview...but it didn't turn out to be what I thought it was gonna be.

It's entertaining and funny at times...but I have liked other movies Hugh Grant has been in much more. Movies like "About a boy(awesome)", "knotting hill", etc.

There are a lot of characters...and some of it was funny...but not hilariously funny. I thought it would have been more of a romantic drama/comedy (judging from the previews.) But, it wasn't as in depth as I thought it would have been.

It was good, but not great. What was up with Wisconsin bars??? (I thought it was his dream) You'll get it after you see the movie. That was funny though when he said he was going there.

Is most British comedy like this though? A question I have if anyone can answer it.

i'm not really the romantic movie type of person but this movie rocks. I so recommend it to everyone, i so love it.

Playing on the fallacy that America is like beer commericals.

^You know, that's exactly what I thought after seeing this movie! I was like this is like those dreams those dudes in those budweiser commercials have - you know like girls fighting in the mud, etc. etc. And I was like, that would never happen!! Only in your dreams guys ... :wink3: :wink3:

i saw this movie last night, and i liked it alot, it was really funny. i also fell in love with karl, lol, who is the hottest guy, and i was a little upset that they didn't finish his story, his and laura linney's?!?! they should of at least been together or somethin, they didn't even finish it. and colin firth, coming to portugal to propse marriage, that was a bit much, all of sudden he asked for propsal, that was unbelieveable. lol. but overall me likey!!!

I'm going to see it on friday night

it comes out here in 2 weeks i think i wanna see it it looks funny :P

Looks like the typical comedy to me, especially since it's from la makers of Bridget Jones's Diary and Notting Hill. Not that I didn't like those movies (esp. Bridget Jones, and I did read the book, both), but you can't go to those movies expecting too much from them, other than an hour and a half of escaping from the world.

anyways that's why i wanna see it cause it's from the same ppl of Bridget Jone's Diary ooh i love that movie :)

I'm thinking I want to see the sequel to Bridget Jones Diary... :)
