DONALD TRUMP

Featured Replies

At first I thought it was a joke, but it has stuck around; it's gaining momentum, and he appears to be serious about pursuing top choice as the Republican candidate in the 2012 Presidential election.

What are your thoughts on a Trump vs. Obama ticket in 2012?

(for simplicity, let us assume that other parties won't have enough of an impact to matter; and no "you're fired" jokes, please)

From what I've heard, he just keeps trying to discredit Obama by questioning his country of birth.:dozey:

Just so you know... I want to make it clear that Donald Trump has (and I quote) a "Great relationship with the blacks" :|

Trump vs. Obama, sounds interesting

I'd definitely vote for Trump if I could, like, he'd easily be a funnier president, like..

PEOPLE WOULD MAKE FUN OF HIM <3

Obama isn't that funny.

lulz

this reminds me of the awful joke i made one day where i called my friend's hair donald trump because it was fiery :|

He's certainly very skilled at blowing his own trumpet, anyway..................

I'd vote for Trump if I were able. Just cuz he's badass. :charming:

Knowing when you aren't wanted: Priceless.

Trump's proposed policies regarding trade (especially trade with China) scare the shit out of me.

Then again, most of Obama's fiscal policies (which I'm sure Trump will carry on) scare the shit out of me as well.

Either way, we're fucked.

Obama's birth certificate was released today, so...

Donald Trump says he is proud of himself after the release of President Obama's birth certificate

(WXYZ) - Business mogul Donald Trump is taking credit after the White House released President Obama's birth certificate.

He says he's honored and proud of himself for pushing the issue so hard and says he is the only one to make this happen.

"Today, I'm very proud of myself, because I've accomplished something that nobody else has been able to accomplish," said Trump. He said the President should have released the long form of the birth certificate years ago.

Trump says he'll have to look at it, and have the experts look at it, to see if it's real, but he says he hopes it checks out.

When asked about a possible run for the presidency, Trump says he won't be able to make an announcement until after the finale of his TV show "Celebrity Apprentice."

He says he thinks people will be surprised at what his announcement will be.

idiot Birthers. I really don't see what the big deal was or why those people were so pressed for a birth certificate. I personally think that a lot of them are just a bunch of racists. I mean has there ever been before a bunch of people demanding to see someones birth certificate before for a president?

Even if hypothetically he was to not be born here, it's not like you can take back his time in office so far, and more importantly would you really rather want Biden as president?

Now Trump's questioning Obama's "education" too. Will it never end?:dozey:

I absolutely hate Donald Trump. And a big reason is his actions after buying land on the Aberdeenshire in Scotland for a planned golf course of his.

Trump has tried to force the evictions of families from there own homes in order to build his golf course. One man Michael Forbes was at the end of a vicious attack from Trump with Trump calling him 'unclean and a village idiot' for merely standing his ground and refusing to leave his home. What's worse is that the Scottish Government and the local councils which are supposed to represent these people are more than happy for Trump to get his way. If anyone's seen the film Local Hero then it's just like this only Donald Trump is much more repulsive and more of a pig than any American businessman in that film.

So if America is happy to have a President who attacks vulnerable people for their way of living and thinks he can walk into any place telling people what to do and where to go then he's the man for you. A perfect match.

Donald Trump Releases Statement Saying He Will Not Run for President

For Immediate Release:

New York, New York: May 16, 2011

After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency. This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country. I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election. I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.

I want to personally thank the millions of Americans who have joined the various Trump grassroots movements and written me letters and e-mails encouraging me to run. My gratitude for your faith and trust in me could never be expressed properly in words. So, I make you this promise: that I will continue to voice my opinions loudly and help to shape our politician’s thoughts. My ability to bring important economic and foreign policy issues to the forefront of the national dialogue is perhaps my greatest asset and one of the most valuable services I can provide to this country. I will continue to push our President and the country’s policy makers to address the dire challenges arising from our unsustainable debt structure and increasing lack of global competitiveness. Issues, including getting tough on China and other countries that are methodically and systematically taking advantage of the United States, were seldom mentioned before I brought them to the forefront of the country’s conversation. They are now being debated vigorously. I will also continue to push for job creation, an initiative that should be this country’s top priority and something that I know a lot about. I will not shy away from expressing the opinions that so many of you share yet don’t have a medium through which to articulate.

I look forward to supporting the candidate who is the most qualified to help us tackle our country’s most important issues and am hopeful that, when this person emerges, he or she will have the courage to take on the challenges of the Office and be the agent of change that this country so desperately needs.

Thank you and God Bless America!

Donald J. Trump
