I'm afraid I don't have examples. All I know is that back when I used to work concerts, those numbers were regarded as something of a joke by people who would've been in a position to know. I believe the bone of contention has to do with things like them using stated venue capacity vs. specific show capacity, not properly figuring in comps, and things like that.

Geez! It feels like it's taking for ever to reach 5 million, though it hasn't been a year yet since the album was released.

My friends that just shows how bad the music industry is at right now.... and no one is doing anything to STOP IT.

 

5 mill is a HUGE success already in albums in this music industry. thats the average 5 mill success already.. unlike around 4-5 years ago 10 M was a success already and now its down to 5M:cry:

 

maybe in the next 2-3 years 3 M would already be the new average for succesful abums unless they do something about it

Thank goodness they're making much more in concerts. Also the MX comic might trigger more sales.
