Forgiven someone for something too easily...

Then like a year or years later realized how much it still hurts and that it shouldn't have been that easily forgiven.

Forgiving isn't the same thing as forgetting. I think it's best to forgive even if the person did the shittiest thing to you imaginable. But that doesn't mean you have to forget it, and it certainly doesn't mean you have to keep them in your life.

But what is that person is the most important person in your life...

:\ fucking hell.

You should love your enemies, but it's ok to have enemies.

I've never really understood that phrase to love your enemies. Seems like one of the dumbest phrases ever.

You don't have to love anything.

It isn't something you have control over.

You feel how you feel and then try to find a sensible and rational way of assimilating how you feel towards that person, and if it's negative try to either solve the problem, or keep it out of your life.

If you have a problem, the people you get on most with (and so hopefully the most important people in your life) will work through them with you and find a way to make it work. If it can't work then there is little option than to move on, otherwise nothing will be solved and things will stay the same, which won't be worth it at all.

That's how I see things on a general level, but I'm guessing there will be exceptions.

I think that some things are unforgiveable. Even if you try to forgive them, I don't think that it is possible to forgive everything.

yes I have. It's okay to forgive sometimes and not carry that anger inside but it is almost impossible to forget . What is important is that the thing your have forgiven for never happens to you again.
