I can't think of any other reason. :phu:

if i dislike a female voice it use to be for their high-pitch voice, or their void lyrics, which turns to be annoying.

as also for male vocalist i prefer husky voices or interesting lyrics.

i don't find my case it be for sexist reasons.

tell me female vocalist you like and we'll see if is sexist reasons or not.

**added: plus female vocalist use to be common in pop music, and i mostly listen rock.

Gaga?

I don't hate female voices at all. However, I am picky with voices in general. That goes for both female and male voices. If I find I don't like a particular vocalist, chances are, I won't listen to their music. I kinda have to go on an artist-to-artist basis.

Depends on what mood I'm in. When I'm feeling cheery and fun, I'll listen to more female vocalists. But most of the time I prefer male.

for my part I like the singers female of 80s my favorite singers who made my childhood, they always sing. example Sandra, kim Wilde

I have CDs of singers female too Sarah Brightman, Emma Shapplin, Annie Lennox, Madonna and too Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin ... ect

Although I've noticed that I tend to like male voices better. :wacky:

I hated female vocalists before, but then I got into some with strange voices and after a while I started to like normal voices as well.

Me too, now that I think of it.

I like Emily Haines, Susanne Sundfør, Lady Gaga (:awesome:), and that's about it really.

It doesn't matter if the singer is male or female. To me, music is music. If I don't like a singer, it's because I don't like their songs and it's not my cup of tea.

I said just that in showbiz the people not know the personality of the singers, celebs
