  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

totally. I love being like "oh please oh please play THIS song next!" and maybe they will, maybe they won't. You want to have the same surprised reaction as all the other people in the place when they play, oh I don't know, VLV or something. Maybe it's because their technical stuff is more specific, whereas Radiohead's just got that light show that can be programmed pretty easily night after night, I would imagine...

maybe that last part isn't actually true. maybe I'm just crazy.

i dunno... i mean with them they just have a few things here and there like the confetti butterflies, etc. i think they could definitely change their setlist without causing a problem. to me it didn't feel like their stage set up was all that complex in having a specific order of songs. i mean radiohead sort of has a formula in this past tour they usually start w/ 15 step, and end the main set w/ bodysnatchers... coldplay could do the ssame

Setlist:

1. 15 Step

2. Airbag

3. There, There

9. Faust Arp

yes I know they must play songs like lovers in japan, viva la vida, clock, fix you (unfortunately) etc but they can do some different stuff

Oh right.. The Butterflies. I forgot about the butterflies.

Don't forget they have to do that acoustic set in the stands for some reason.

When they played multiple shows in London did they have different set lists?

oh yeah, of course every band has certain songs they almost always have to play but i think that bands can definitely change it up

Are you listening to it? I meant to ask you like an hour ago where I could listen to.. Sigh. Perhaps some other show soon.

I wish Radiohead would not play EVERY song off In Rainbows. Not to say I don't like In Rainbows, but it just limits the amount of time they can devote to other songs. I understand that the concert is going to be heavily influenced by the latest album, but I don't need to hear every song. A good 6-7 songs would be good for me. This would give them more time to play their old stuff.
