  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

thankyou for that harrowdown hill clip :stunned: it looks absolutely stunning from what i can see! a mixture between something underwater,or something in the sky on fire? and it looks like something with wings

And steph! what the hell has happened to you since i last spoke to you :laugh4: you said many times how radiohead was NOT your cup of tea,and now i see you cant get enough of them and love three albums already .....well welcome to the radiohead enjoyment :wink2:

LOL I know!!! :freak: I didn't think it was! But I hadn't really listened to anything of theirs properly in years and years...when I thought it was boring etc. My taste has obviously changed and improved a lot over the years and I appreciate much more intellegent music lately :)

Radiohead enjoyment is great :D

Good i am glad to hear you can enjoy it too :) so what albums have you listened to again? And whats your favorite tracks so far etc? Just so i can get a picture of whats pleased you

I've got The Bends, OK Computer and Hail to the Thief. My fave tracks so far are Idioteque (LOOOVE!), No Suprises, Karma Police, Climbing Up the Walls, The Bends, Planet Telex, Fake Plastic Trees, Let Down, Lucky, Subterranean Homesick Alien...oh, so many!!! Their lyrics are just...wow. :dizzy:

Oh and of course High & Dry :D

Cant wait to hear more. :)

Great! See,now do you see why i love them so much!!??

I agree i love their lyrics too,and the way he sings them is bliss.Idioteque is something special there, amaaazing.

Oh totally. I see i seeee! :wideeyed: I have seen the light!

WE'RE NOT SCAREMONGERING, THIS IS REALLY, HAPPENNINNN...oh my god I LOVE IT! :wacky: Amazing.

:laugh4: good ok great!

Hmm what song is that agin ....erm....oh idioteque :wink2:.When i first heard it i recognised it as a kind of weird dance track...the backing music.

So are you going to venture further and get other albums...and even thom's album? :laugh4:.....na only joking lol i'm sure you need time to take all that stuff in you got and appreciate it. :)

Yeah I think im gonna get Kid A & Pablo Honey and then just take time to listen to those first... :)

Thankyou for helping me see the light! :wideeyed: lol

:laugh4: that's ok....glad you enjoy it as much as i do lol.

possible....he probably favoured them if he liked what they done before.

I've just watched Cymbal Rush video from Henry Rollins show. Oh boy

ur right :P it really looks like..:D cant wait till monday, hope it will be on the internet soon

taken from Pitchfork:

Thom Yorke's Mercury Prize-nominated solo album, The Eraser, isn't exactly the kind of record you'd expect to launch hit singles. But XL Recordings are giving it a go anyway, with the release of "Harrowdown Hill" on CD, 7" and 12" on August 21. The track's slippery ambience will have a tough time competing with Lily Allen and McFly, but we're not going to underestimate the power of Radiohead fans, oh no.

A sneak preview of the video is available here. Looks like it's footage of stuff falling/diving into water. Coooool. The whole thing will premiere on Monday, July 31. Tracklists:

"Harrowdown Hill" single:

CD:

01 Harrowdown Hill

02 The Drunkk Machine

03 Harrowdown Hill (Extended Mix)

7":

A: Harrowdown Hill

B: Jetstream

12":

A: Harrowdown Hill (Extended Mix)

B: The Drunkk Machine

HEY! The preview just changed! It's now a bunch of hands pulling some guy with sandals into the water or something.. hahah i have no clue but looks pretty cool check it out

but we're not going to underestimate the power of Radiohead fans, oh no.

i know i know :P we are very dangerous :P we even want to murder people for radiohead! :wink3:
