but tonight I'm extremely bored so I Just downloaded 'then bends' and 'Ok Computer'

I'm going to listen to them and see what this hype is all about.

I'd heard 'no surprises' before and exit music when I did music at college, I love them both.

 

what's the song where they're moving in like, slow motion in the video? when it's black and white and there's breaking glass and stuff. I vaguely remember that.

I'd kill to have Ed's job. His E-bow and FX create so many incredible timbres and soundscapes that no other band does.

In less than 2 hours we might get a confirmation Radiohead will be playing Reading/Leeds this year, and therefore CONFIRMATION they will be returning to Europe in the summer....

I SAPPOSE they don't want to do too much traveling, eh? Oh well. If I went this year that'd mean Radiohead twice in the span of a year and then who knows for how long. I think it'd be too much.

i know... tickets sell out really quick. I remember they day that the 2nd leg of US shows went on sale, and I had a page updater to know when they went up. I remember that the site went so slow that I had to get tickets I think later on in the day. It's a good thing I got them when I did because like an hour or two later they said the entire show was sold out.

 

Hopefully they will play for you. I have a feeling that they will because Ed said in a recent interview that they want to play in Europe again because they feel that the light show didn't work as well since it was still bright outside even late.

I hope LP8 album is released before 2011. Looking back, 4 years was an awfully long time between albums, considering HTTT was released 2 years after amnesiac...and amnesiac, one year after Kid A. But I suppose Thom and Jonny's solo projects weighed heavily on that...

Don't forget we have a Phil solo project coming up first soon.

But at least they (the band) have been spending some time in the studio already. Hopefully the ideas will come faster than with the In Rainbows sessions.

I have a gut feeling that LP8 will be out a lot sooner. I mean the band are enjoying themselves, they feel as though they're on a high point, They've toured all over. I really think that LP8 will be here either by the end of the year or the latest middle of next year.

 

I think the next few years will be really exciting as a Radiohead fan. Not just are they working on a new album but also we know that Ed and Phil are working on an album. I'm sure that Jonny is working on more Orchestrational work, and Thom always seems to be working on something. We also know that Ed and Phil did work for the 7 Worlds collide, and apparently they're coming out with an album which supposedly features a song by Phil and 2 by Ed

Exactly.

 

And in between, when news surrounding the band's whereabouts are kind of low key, EMI will re-re-release and re-repackage old stuff to keep the fans happy :P
