  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

I really love Amnesiac, too! I know a lot of people say it's their weakest album, but I just don't know if I agree with that. I think OK Computer starts out strong, but then peters out towards the end.

Amnesiac is definitely not their weakest. I mean Pablo Honey would be the obvious choice. Besides that I dunno, all of their albums are pretty solid. I dunno what might be their weakest.

The Bends is pretty strong throughout though I don't really like Sulk and Black Star

OK Computer is really solid throughout, except for Electioneering which always sticks out like a sore thumb for me... it feels like it should be on The Bends or something

Kid A is probably their most solid, if not 2nd most solid album. Every song works perfectly together

Amnesiac really works well as an album. Although Kid A and Amnesiac were written and recorded in the same frame you can clearly tell that there is a big difference in sound. All the songs I feel seem to fit together

HTTT this works alright as an album. Perhaps it might be slightly too long, which might throw off it being a really solid album. I remember how when I would listen to it early on it'd get lost after There There

In Rainbows I think is either their strongest or 2nd strongest album in terms of flow (right before or after Kid A). I find that all the songs seem to work together and it has a feel to it.

the 10/10 solid trio is OKC + KID A + AMNESIAC

I don't feel like putting them in any order.

I love Pablo Honey, for the rawness.

I would love it if the rumours are correct and Radiohead are headliners on the Saturday of G2010

I think the last 4 tracks are some of the band's best work.

I actually like Electioneering where it is.

Agree with you on In Rainbows and Kid A.

Don't ask questions...just watch.

Awesome.

And I got There Will Be Blood from the library, as well as Exit Music - random unofficial biography

What a wonderful thread!

Advert time:

Does anybody want to buy the special edition of Hail to the Thief (the one with the massive poster) & the book version of Amnesiac?

PM me if remotely interested

I have to post this somewhere

Agree with you on In Rainbows and Kid A.

Ahhh, Fitz. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. We like different things, I guess. Those last 2 tracks on OK Computer are sort of boring for me.

And, gloaming09, I agree with you about Kid A being one of the best "put together" albums from start to finish. It all fits and flows and Amnesiac is right there, too. Those are probably my favorite 2 albums with OK Computer and In Rainbows close behind.

And Ella, I was making generalizations when I said "everybody thinks Amnesiac is their weakest." I guess I shouldn'tve. :embarassed: I have several friends who love Radiohead and they think it's a toss-up between Amnesiac and Pablo Honey. They are huge Bends/OK Computer fans. :)
