Recommended Posts

Actually, there are 11 songs on the DISC 2:

9. Jamie xx - Bloom Rework

10. Anstam - Separator Rmx

11. SBTRKT - Lotus Flower Rmx

Notice the 'Rework'!

EDIT:

London Riots Hit Radiohead and other indie labels!

So world did turn, and London burns ... I'm just wondering if Thom is already standing on the beach with his guitar!?

At the risk of sounding utterly insensitive, I'm guessing this will make the recent vinyl releases even more rare/valuable.

I hate the title, the artwork is alright though.

They should have gotten James Blake and Burial to do something, I can't stand Jamie xx tbh. :(

I'm sure Thom tried to get Burial :P But anything involving Burial is rare :(

I haven't even bothered to listen to the remixes

You need to hear them. In my opinion the Jacques Greene remix is the best thing to come out of the TKOL era :P

Unfortunately my car does not have that capability (aux cable plug-in wasn't "standard" at the time). So lame.

yeah

my car was so old it only had a cassette player

I ended up replacing it so I could play CD's and use the Aux. but now I rarely use the cd player or radio (since there's not much good on there)

Google it. It's about how they are raping the environment here for oil.
I looked briefly at some stuff, and it does sound pretty bad. But in my brief look, I didn't see anything describing exactly what makes it such a "carbon bomb". I saw lots of "this is really bad" stuff, but nothing describing WHAT makes it bad in terms of releasing carbon. Is it the processing of the tar sand to remove the oil that creates oodles of carbon? Is it the construction of the pipeline that creates the excess carbon? Is it the flatulence from the workers standing around after their lunch break? Is it all of the above?

I know it's bad to dig up Mother Earth, but the main point they seem to be making is in regard to the carbon; and then I don't see any description of that part of it.

Here is a good little video explaining it:

To answer your question, I'm not exactly sure what the ratio is....but it takes a lot of fossil fuels to get fossil fuels. So yeah watch the video and you can see why I used the term rape. I don't throw that around lightly, but with what this is doing to nature, communities, etc. you can't use soft language.
