Contra4you
Im sorry for this pun. I like Hurts like heaven, it has a beautiful Sound! But, so we come to my question, Hurts like heaven sounds exactly like Dancing in the dark from Bruce Springsteen. Please tell me if it looks the same, or very different. This is not a criticism of Coldplay and their sound. I love Coldplay and am as happy as you are all determined on the new album. Here is the comparison: Coldplay - Hurts like Heaven Bruce Springsteen - Dancing in the dark

Batman
Hmmm yeah I got your point, there are some similarities, but I think Coldplay's song sounds pretty distinct.
Contra4you
The melody is the same Chris sings in his song, just a little faster and has an e-guitar solo

Oh, excuse me I have misunderstood you.^^ Its the same Song with a antoher text, but you know it self :D My thesis remains that sound like heaven very much inspired by Bruce Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark. rafaelchampion
======================================================== You will never speak about Chris Martin being 'inspired' by others when I know he was not, at least in my presence, guy; Hahaha the most I listen to this song, the most I laugh IF, anyone here still have a doubt about Coldplay, Ladies and Gentleman, THIS is Hurts Like Heaven *link removed* And THIS is the LIVE version of Bruce Springsteen - Dancing in the Dark: *link removed* AS you can see NOT the same tempo, NOT the same bass, NOT the same guitar, NOT the same drums. If you STILL have some doubt, this guy showed us the LIVE version of the song. THIS is the real song [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEJ26h_cBqQ]Bruce Springsteen - Dancing in the Dark (Lyrics) - YouTube[/ame] That's the Satriani just again. hux90
Rafael, you never fail to make me laugh. You obviously have absolutely no debating skills, and shouldn't be allowed to post on any forum whatsoever. Furthermore, your expertise as a 'musicist' impresses no one. That being said, I see only slight similarity between the songs; nothing to be worried about and nothing lawsuit-worthy. To me, Satriani's claim was much more valid. tl;dr - Rafael you suck, and no similarity between the songs
Major_Love
Obviously you didn't understand rafael because he said nearly the same like you.
