Hurts like Bruce Springsteen?

Featured Replies

Im sorry for this pun. I like Hurts like heaven, it has a beautiful Sound!

But, so we come to my question, Hurts like heaven sounds exactly like

Dancing in the dark from Bruce Springsteen.

Please tell me if it looks the same, or very different.

This is not a criticism of Coldplay and their sound. I love Coldplay and am as happy as you are all determined on the new album.

Here is the comparison:

Coldplay - Hurts like Heaven

Bruce Springsteen - Dancing in the dark

AHHHHH NOT AGAIN MAN

THIS MAKES ME MAD

HAVE YOU NOTHING ELSE TO DO?

IT'S TOTALLY DIFFERENT!

Do you want the media to fuck Coldplay again?

Hmmm yeah I got your point, there are some similarities, but I think Coldplay's song sounds pretty distinct.

The melody is the same Chris sings in his song, just a little faster and has an e-guitar solo

You have to admit - it sounds less like the same Springsteen song than Spanish Rain did.

I am a musicist and I see NO similarity at all

Potter Fan its ok, Please do not write more on this topic. With you, no one can lead a normal discussion, so it's better that you do not break even this issue.

I will post here one more time to be pleased to prove you the song is different and make you feel ashamed to have created such a thread.

No, I mean Spanish Rain by Coldplay. It's also been called "Don Quixote".

You are doing so as if it was blasphemy. I like coldplay, its not a criticism.

Oh, excuse me I have misunderstood you.^^

Its the same Song with a antoher text, but you know it self :D

My thesis remains that sound like heaven very much inspired by Bruce Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark.

You will never speak about Chris Martin being 'inspired' by others when I know he was not, at least in my presence, guy;

Hahaha the most I listen to this song, the most I laugh

IF, anyone here still have a doubt about Coldplay, Ladies and Gentleman,

THIS is Hurts Like Heaven

And THIS is the LIVE version of Bruce Springsteen - Dancing in the Dark:

*link removed*

AS you can see NOT the same tempo, NOT the same bass, NOT the same guitar, NOT the same drums.

If you STILL have some doubt, this guy showed us the LIVE version of the song.

THIS is the real song

That's the Satriani just again. IF you believe this guy, you believe in Satriani.

You say you like Coldplay? If you like Coldplay, STOP comparing them and listen to the song and it's over.

THE END

I doubt he can watch the Video.

He won't because he know he is wrong. I'm full of people coming to compare their songs. But now I can prove it

I thought Don Quixote sounded like Dancing in The Dark, not HLH   then....Don Quixote and Hurts Like Heaven are the same song! :P :laugh3:

It makes no sense to argue with you since you are only destructive. They argue superficially like a blind child and deny it all just because it speaks to your eyes against Coldplay.

Very good rafael!

Das musst du mir jetzt aber erklären.^^ Warum findest du, dass er Recht hat?

Weil er es dir mehr als deutlich aufgezeigt hat, das deine Theorie schwachsinnig ist.

Rafael, you never fail to make me laugh. You obviously have absolutely no debating skills, and shouldn't be allowed to post on any forum whatsoever. Furthermore, your expertise as a 'musicist' impresses no one.

That being said, I see only slight similarity between the songs; nothing to be worried about and nothing lawsuit-worthy. To me, Satriani's claim was much more valid.

tl;dr - Rafael you suck, and no similarity between the songs

Obviously you didn't understand rafael because he said nearly the same like you.
