And your doing film? We need to hang out :awesome: and good for you! The Asian dad thing: Asian parents are usually VERY strict. My dad just happens to fall under that stereotype. Also I understand what your saying. I live by that philosophy but keep in mind im 15. Like I told Annie: Fake It Till I Make It. I see what you mean. But even so make the best of things. And if you are ever dissatisfied with how things are, like I said you have to make the change. I mean throughout my life there are things I've been disappointed with and by waiting for things to change on their own I wasted a lot of time. Also it doesn't matter your age. Make the most of your life doing what you like, and fuck anyone else who tells you otherwise.

That's right - the answer is clear. Be obsessive on two fronts, the better you do at school, the more obsessive your studying, the more obsessively you can reward yourself with music, until you become happily insane! :laugh3: A little fear helps, that's true. Too much fear kinda paralyzes tho. Better to feel the buzz in the brain from scintillating studies, then go for a musical release.
July 19, 201115 yr Well cause my dad thinks so and to top it off: He thinks I won't make something of myself, says that I'm not like the normal kids he sees and that I'll wind up stupid and homeless :cry: depends of your future plans.... if you'll keep studying or will work then no worries, if you plan none of those two (the usual a person does when is near or turns adult and which is assumed that show some sort of responsability and ensures a good future) then yes, start to worry, specially if at some point you get hooked to some drug, no joke i know many people that are peter pans, living as if they are teenagers with no worries and living of a social welfare for doing nothing. wow some urban dictionary descriptions of hobo are appealing to follow them, though it remind me of "into the wild" movie :| and btw from some normal kids i see, i don't think they'll go very far.... yesterday for instance was so annoying when them passed by with their phones playing loud music as if it were a radio, don't the youth want their space and intimacy, then why spread their music taste along the street? :confused:
