^okay it has a second I!!!! :snobby::P

It's aluminium :)

Ok, all you beautiful songwriters! I have to write a song for English (he may have meant just lyrics, but it's pretty fun. :lol:) and I need your help with chords. It's supposed to be about some news event that we feel strongly about (I haven't picked yet, but it will most likely be sad). The chords I have so far are Em, D, Csus4, C. That could be for a verse or the chorus; I haven't decided yet. I can't think of anything good that might lead back into an Em. :\ If no one replies, I'll be thinking about it until tomorrow anyway, especially about lyrics...

Here to help :)

Lets see if I can figure something out :nod: I'll try. But I suck at songs :P

I just have to wait for the commercial brake :D

Okay. Bear with me since my guitar only has five strings and its really old, but i think another chord progression like G, Em, D Em, or something like that just sort of sounds right (to me at least) I don't know where that could fit, but does that help a little?

Ooh, a C works pretty well with what you said, maybe I could link it in somehow to the C in what I already have... :thinking:

Hmm... You mean like transitioning between the two chord progressions?

Am?

Ok, I think this'll work.

G Em D Em (Intro)

Em D Csus4 C (verse)

Am D (Em D) C (chorus)

Em Dsus4 D (bridge)

and repeat those as needed for each part.

Thanks! :awesome:

Aah, Don't Panic came on my iPod. ever since I watched the music video, I cant help but think of it when I hear the song and I get slightly creeped out... It really sucks because its such a great song...

Well, I suppose it is time, to use my apparently-now-quoted phrase, to abuse my haystack. :laugh3:
